I had built a successful career in law, but there was another part of me that wanted to be expressed. In the spirit of carpe diem, I eventually left law to pursue my dream of singing and acting full-time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And I succeeded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I performed on stage and television. I had prominent roles and even sang solo at Carnegie Hall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then came another twist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>I lost my singing and performing voice.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For someone whose identity had become deeply connected to performing, this wasn&#8217;t simply the loss of a voice. It shook my confidence and my sense of who I was. I had to rediscover what success and well-being meant to me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That experience became one of the turning points that eventually led me toward health, wellness, fitness, and the brain-body connection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I transformed my own health and lost <\/span><b>77 pounds without dieting<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
