Each case represented shattered lives and the hope for healing. But then life threw me a curveball \u2014 I <\/span><b>lost my voice<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> due to a throat infection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That loss became the spark of a new beginning. Determined to heal, I turned to wellness \u2014 making myself my very first client. For me, two key moments tested my vision and deepened my purpose:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowing when to pivot<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thriving during a global pandemic<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At EYF, our mission has always been to uplift and reconnect individuals to their wellness journey \u2014 helping them take charge of their minds and bodies while embracing who they truly are.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Challenge #1: The Business Pivot<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In EYF\u2019s early years, I focused primarily on <\/span><b>fitness classes and personal training<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. It was fulfilling work that delivered excellent results, but it limited how many people I could reach in a day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I realized my mission was bigger than the hours in a day. To serve a global community, I needed to evolve.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I began by analyzing the wellness programs I had created, connecting them to the needs of the communities I served. Through research, market testing, and reflection, I identified new opportunities \u2014 including <\/span><b>corporate wellness programs<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><b>pop-up wellness villages<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and <\/span><b>employee de-stress and breathing workshops<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This pivot also inspired my first book, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cYes! Commit. Do. Live.\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and launched me into <\/span><b>global speaking engagements<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wellness Reimagined<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brain-Body Connection<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">By embracing this change, EYF expanded beyond individual coaching to designing scalable, creative wellness solutions for organizations worldwide.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Challenge #2: The Pandemic Shift<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The pandemic changed everything \u2014 for businesses, families, and individuals. Stress, anxiety, and isolation surged, impacting physical and mental health across the globe.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Like many entrepreneurs, I saw in-person sessions and events vanish almost overnight. Yet, amid the disruption came an opportunity to reimagine connection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">EYF pivoted once again \u2014 this time into the <\/span><b>virtual world<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. I explored digital platforms that could bring teams and communities together through <\/span><b>interactive wellness sessions<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
